Proceeds benefit WGA Caddie Scholarship Fund
On Monday, August 26th, Deuayne Crawford, his guests and others will be golfing as many holes as possible at the Whippoorwill Country Club in support of caddie scholars who receive scholarships from the Caddie Scholarship Fund. Help support his efforts and help caddies in their pursuit of higher education.
Deuayne Crawford will be participating in his 9th golf marathon in a row this year. He is a Caddie Scholarship alumnus, CSF alumni committee member and a 2006 graduate from SUNY Binghamton. In 2016, Deuayne Crawford was awarded the Sally Francis Alumni Award in recognition of his continued support and loyalty to the program.
The Caddie Scholarship Fund provides need-based scholarships to young men and women in the service to golf at participating clubs. The Fund is providing over $1M in scholarship aid to 271 students during the 2018-2019 academic year.
About the WGA Caddie Scholarship Fund
The WGA Caddie Scholarship Fund provides financial need based scholarships to caddies and others who work in service to golf at local participating golf and country clubs. It was founded in 1956 by Willie Turnesa and Udo Reinach, and since its inception has raised over $21,000,000 to help more than 2,800 deserving young men and women pursue a higher education.
