Proceeds benefit Youth On Course
What: Hundred Hole Hike challenge to raise money and awareness for Youth on Course; Playing and walking 100 holes of golf in one day.
When: September 10th, sunup to sundown, Claremont Country Club
Who: Youth on Course, a 501 C-3 non-profit, is expanding nationally and currently operates in 25 states, serves over 31,000 youth members, and provides access to affordable golf at 830+ golf facilities nation-wide.
Why: Youth on Course provides its members with access to golf for $5 or less, summer jobs through caddie and internship programs, and access to higher education through college scholarships. Access to jobs, access to education, access to opportunities.
How: You can pledge any amount for each hole of golf I play. For example, if you pledge $1 per hole and I complete 100 holes, that’s $100 towards Youth on Course.
My story: In 2017 I joined the Youth on Course team as Director of Development and I am seeing this organization make as big an impact on our youth as we ever did in my school fundraising career.
For them, I will be playing 100 holes, walking 20+ miles, and taking hundreds of swings. With my surgically repaired but still damaged knees it will be a challenge, but your support will help the pain go away. Thanks for your help.
Check out where I stand against other YOC National hikers by viewing my ranking on the leaderboard.
